Experience FC Policies & Procedures 2024-25

Policy

Goal: To assist prospective students in visiting Florida College in Temple Terrace, FL

Budget: The board will determine a budget amount for each school year.

General: All reimbursements will be awarded after attendance at Experience FC has been confirmed. Registration and travel costs will be reimbursed as listed below. Requests for reimbursement must be received by May 1.

Registration Costs: Students and parents are responsible for the registration fee charged by Florida College. The board may approve reimbursement for registration fees in special circumstances.

Travel Costs: All or a portion of travel costs (depending on the budget allotted by the board) may be reimbursed on a one-time basis to students/parents after attending Experience FC and submitting receipts to CCHB.

Recipients of award

This award is given one time only. It is intended for Chicagoland-area juniors and seniors who are interested in FC and are not receiving funds from another chapter/booster club to attend Experience FC. Priority will be given to students and parents who have not visited FC before, who have attended Chicagoland camp, and/or whose families are members of the Chicagoland Chapter of the Hutchinson Bell.

Procedure

Students/parents should register for Experience FC on the FC website and then fill out the application form found on the chapter website. The chapter will then contact the applicant with further information. Florida College does not provide housing but the chapter can attempt to help attendees arrange for someone to stay with.

All reimbursements will be awarded after attendance at Experience FC sessions has been confirmed.
